SecureCRT supports X.509 smart cards (PIV/CAC) with the ability to select a specific certificate to be used for public-key authentication. Transfer files between network devices with SFTP, Xmodem, Ymodem, Zmodem, or Kermit. A built-in TFTP server provides additional file transfer flexibility. Sessions can reference an entry in the local Credentials Manager, making itĮasier to update stored passwords. Weekly, or even daily password changes are required. Working with a large number of connections is made easier with the dockable Active Sessions Manager (previously Windows only). See at a glance the connection status of all open sessions. Use the filter bar to quickly locate specific sessions as well as local shells, scratchpads, and open scripts.Ī wizard facilitates importing sessions from CSV, TSV, or other delimited text files. Previously, sessions had to be imported manually or with a script. Use the mouse wheel to scroll the tab bar when some tabs are hidden because a lot of sessions are open. If the Cipher or MAC algorithm negotiation fails during an attempted SSH2 connection, SecureCRT can enable a supported algorithm and try again. The ability to temporarily rename a window makes it easier to locate a specific SecureCRT window from the Windows taskbar when multiple instances are running.
